About Stephanie

Thank you for visiting. My name is Stephanie Adams and I am a Nottingham based, wedding, family, child & pet photographer.

I have been a photographer for 10 years. I've always loved taking photos from a young age. It's always been a skill that I've been good at. I never chopped off heads so that was a good start haha!

Being in retail for many years before finally deciding what I wanted to do, I have always been good with people, communicating with them, helping in anyway I can. After having my first child and realising how much I actually loved capturing memories I decided to take the plunge and go back into education and learn how to be a professional photographer. Since then I have never looked back. I now have my dream career with my own studio.

My passion is capturing memories that last a life time. My style is mainly candid with some staged images but always keeping it as natural as possible.

I aim to capture true personalities with my relaxed and natural style. As a mother myself I understand how little ones can be shy and nervous. I know how important it is to have patience with little ones and to have a rapport with them to allow me to capture the best images during the sessions. I allow time before we start for them to have a wonder round, explore the equipment and props and get to know me a little to ensure they feel comfortable.

I also meet with couples before their wedding day on more than one occasion to build a rapport with them. No matter how old we are, we all feel nervous around new people, especially when it comes to having your photo taken.
